Insane rides and animals

These are two videos I had forgotten to post, and that makes the last article of this website and adventure.

In the first one, I have compiled the shots from cycling inside the cities of Fès, Nouadhibou, Nouakchott, Saint-Louis, Dakar, Banjul, Bissau, Freetown, Monrovia, Kumasi, Accra, Abeokuta, Ibadan, Pointe-Noire, Lubango, Windhoek, and Cape Town. I think it’s the most dangerous part of the trip: traffic. It’s a bit stressing so I had to add some Flavour to it.

I had to look everywhere at the same time, and I slowly got more confident in navigating into such a huge peaceful chaos (but still constantly looking 360° around me). By the time I got to Nigeria, I was placing myself within the okadas (moto-taxis) at traffic lights and was the quickest out of the blocks. Despite that, I didn’t feel like testing the traffic in Lagos – at all. I found Southern Africa much more disciplined, and cycling in Cape Town was comparable to cycling in Europe.

The videos in this movie were shot when I felt confident enough to cycle with one hand, and the other one holding a P&S camera.

The second video is just a compilation of the insects and bigger animals on my way.
